Requirements

 Expected Responsibilities:

• Provide preventative care, general medical exams, initial urgent care, and end of life care for companion dogs and cats.
• Interpret diagnostic results.
• Perform surgery and prescribe medication as needed.
• Maintain patients’ medical records.
• Ensure compliance with veterinary ethics and relevant statues, policies, and procedures. 

Qualifications:

• DVM or equivalent degree from a AVMA COE-accredited Veterinary Program.
• Wisconsin State Veterinary license in good standing.
• Willingness to develop diagnostic and surgical skills.
• Desire to provide compassionate care.
• Effective and efficient communication and interpersonal skills.
