As a privately-owned, woman-founded practice, we've created an environment where you can practice good medicine without burning out. Our 8:1 support staff ratio means you focus on veterinary work, not paperwork.
Practice Type: Privately owned, small animal, expanded general practice
Compensation: $135K guaranteed base salary (+ sign-on bonus) transitioning to production model where experienced doctors here average $300K+

Schedule: 4 clinical days + 1 surgery day (Mon-Fri), 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM, just 1 on-call weekend per month

About Eagles Nest Animal Hospital
Our Mission is to provide the best quality medicine and customer service at a reasonable price. We are a privately-owned, woman-founded, expanded small animal general practice with four dedicated doctors in our brand-new 8,500 sq ft facility. Located in King George, VA (about 1 hour south of DC - no traffic commute).
Diverse Caseload: Small animal expanded general practice (mostly cats and dogs with some small mammals) offering comprehensive medical services including internal medicine, theriogenology, dentistry, surgery (and some ortho), and some oncology.
Strong mentorship culture: Our newest doctor (2024 grad) says: "There is a strong emphasis on learning and collaboration that provides a very strong foundation."
