About You

You’ll build meaningful relationships with pets and their owners during the busy season, providing reliable care, preventive services, and urgent attention across fall, winter, and spring, knowing that during your tenure, you’re a trusted partner in their pet’s healthcare.

Experience & Skills Requirements

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM / VMD) or equivalent degree required
• State Veterinary Board License in good standing for Florida prior to start
• Active DEA license or DEA-eligible

About the Hospital

Marathon Veterinary Hospital, part of the Thrive Pet Healthcare network, is the largest veterinary hospital in the Florida Keys located at 5001 Overseas Highway, Marathon, FL 33050.

We provide a comprehensive range of services, including primary care, exotic medicine, and wildlife support.

We are open Monday to Saturday: 7:00 AM - 6:00 PM

Join us for the high-demand season from November through April, full-time. You’ll deliver compassionate, high-quality care and experience a range of seasonal veterinary needs while supported by Thrive’s network.
