Position Purpose
We are seeking a General Practice Veterinarian with at least 2 years’ experience in small animal practice to join our team. This role involves providing high-quality, compassionate care to companion animals, focusing on preventative medicine, diagnostics, surgery, and client communication.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive general practice care, including:
- Preventative health programs
- Medical diagnostics and treatment
- Routine and non-routine surgical procedures
- Develop and implement diagnostic and treatment plans aligned with best practice
- Maintain accurate, timely medical records
- Communicate clearly and empathetically with clients, ensuring informed consent
- Collaborate with nurses and support staff to maintain a positive team culture
- Adhere to ASAV standards, AEA protocols, and WHS requirements

Essential Requirements
- Veterinary degree recognized in Australia
- Current registration with QLD Veterinary Surgeons Board
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in small animal general practice
- Strong communication and teamwork skills

- Interest in advanced clinical skills or special interests
