Eastern Pennsylvania Veterinary Medical Center is looking for a skilled, compassionate Overnight Certified Veterinary Technician to join our dedicated team and help provide exceptional care when our patients need it most.

Eastern Pennsylvania Veterinary Medical Center (EPVMC) is a busy 24/7 emergency and referral hospital with full in-house laboratory capabilities, 6 surgical suites, fluoroscopy (C-arm), 64-slice GE Lightspeed CT with fluoroscopy package, 1.5T GE MRI, ultrasound, holmium laser, dental suite with cone beam CT and digital dental radiography, and endoscopy. EPVMC has well-staffed referral services in Anesthesia, Cardiology, Critical Care, Dentistry, Internal Medicine, Neurology, Ophthalmology, Pain Management, and Surgery along with a great team of emergency clinicians to offer advanced care to a well-educated and devoted client base.

Overnight Certified Veterinary Technician

Eastern Pennsylvania Veterinary Medical Center in Allentown, PA

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Provide high-quality nursing care to hospitalized and emergency outpatients overnight

Monitor anesthesia, from induction to recovery

Perform venipuncture, catheter placement, lab work, and proper medication administration

Assist veterinarians with emergency procedures and treatments

Accurately maintain medical records and communicate patient updates

Support clients with empathy and professionalism during overnight emergencies

REQUIREMENTS

Current certification/licensure as a Veterinary Technician (CVT/LVT/RVT)

Ability to work assigned overnight shifts (3, 12 hour shifts per week)

Strong technical skills and attention to detail

Calm, confident demeanor in emergency or high-stress situations

Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Emergency or overnight experience preferred
