Temporary Veterinary Receptionist - OvernightGlendale, AZ
We are seeking an experienced Client Service Coordinator (CSC) to join our team in a temporary role covering a maternity leave. This position is expected to last approximately 2-3 months, with the opportunity to remain on as a relief/locum associate afterward.
This is a great opportunity for a seasoned veterinary CSR who enjoys a fast-paced hospital environment and is looking for short-term, meaningful work with flexibility.
Schedule
Thursday-Saturday
5:00 PM - 5:00 AM (Overnight Shifts)
Opportunity to pick up additional shifts as available
Includes weekends and holidays
What You'll Do
- Provide high-level reception support in a busy emergency and specialty hospital
- Greet clients, check in patients, and manage front desk flow during overnight hours
- Answer phones and support client communication with professionalism and empathy
- Assist with estimates, invoices, and financial discussions
- Communicate clearly with medical teams to support patient care and workflow
- Maintain accurate documentation and front desk processes during high-stress periods
- Help create a calm, organized, and supportive experience for clients during urgent situations
What We're Looking For
- Previous/current veterinary receptionist experience required
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-emotion emergency environment
- Strong communication skills and a professional, compassionate presence
- Reliable, responsible, and able to work independently overnight
- Detail-oriented with strong multitasking and computer skills
- Positive, energetic, and willing to jump in where needed
- Interested in the possibility of ongoing relief/locum work after the temporary role
