Cascade West Veterinary Hospital is Hiring a Part-Time Office Manager!Cascade West Veterinary Hospital is seeking an experienced Part-Time Office Manager to help lead and support our team. Job Overview
The Part-Time Office Manager plays a critical role in the hospital’s success by helping maintain a positive culture built on shared values, direct communication, and operational efficiency. This position supports hospital leadership in ensuring smooth daily operations, strong client service, and an engaged, collaborative team environment.
This role works closely with hospital leadership and Thrive support teams to help manage administrative and business functions while fostering a culture of accountability and teamwork.
Key Responsibilities
Culture & Work Environment
- Communicate and model the practice’s mission and values to the team
- Help build and maintain a positive, cooperative work environment
- Support team morale, motivation, and engagement
- Participate in and help facilitate staff meetings, including training components
- Promote teamwork and a shared commitment to exceptional patient care
- Support continuous quality improvement (CQI) initiatives
- Collaborate with hospital leadership to elevate operational excellence
- Partner with Thrive finance to assist in budget preparation and financial oversight
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and support reporting efforts
- Assist with and conduct fee management and inventory oversight
- Help maintain hospital software systems and operational processes
- Support implementation of safety and security procedures
- Strong ability to analyze data and identify operational priorities
- Sound judgment and confident decision-making skills
- Demonstrated competence in staff management
- Commitment to outstanding client service
- Empathetic, compassionate, and team-oriented
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Experience with budgeting and financial reporting, including reading and analyzing P&L statements and production calculations
- Solid math and Excel/spreadsheet skills
- Veterinary office management experience preferred
- Minimum three years of administrative experience preferred
- Ability to lift 40 pounds independently and more with assistance
- Part-time schedule with flexibility based on hospital needs

Compensation is negotiable based on credentials and experience with an hourly pay rate of $22.50 - 25.50 / hour. The actual rate offered will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills qualifications, experience, and location.
