Ashby Animal Clinic in Harrisonburg, Virginia is seeking a part-time or full-time Associate Veterinarian to support our continued growth and expanding client base. We provide a highly collaborative, team-centered setting where doctors are empowered to practice progressive, evidence-based medicine with strong clinical support and modern equipment. We currently focus on small animal medicine, with the opportunity to expand into exotics for a doctor who has interest in building that clientele. Our hospital offers flexibility to pursue surgical interests and develop professionally within a positive, experienced team that values communication, mentorship, and long-term career satisfaction.

For more than 50 years, Ashby Animal Clinic has cared for the pets and families of Harrisonburg and Rockingham County with dedication and heart. Since opening our doors in 1974, we have continued to grow alongside our community, completing major renovations and expansions to create a modern, comfortable hospital that supports high-quality medicine. Today, our space includes six exam rooms, roomy treatment areas, a fully equipped surgical suite, and a separate dentistry area, all designed to make your day flow smoothly and safely. In addition, from a workflow perspective, we operate on 30-minute appointment blocks, do not have walk-in appointments, no after-hours emergencies and no weekends offering you an exceptional work-life balance!
