Parrish Creek Veterinary Hospital & Diagnostic Center is a well-established, full-service small animal and exotics practice located in Centerville, just minutes north of Salt Lake City at the base of the scenic Wasatch Mountains.
For over 30 years, our hospital has been a trusted referral center for avian and exotic medicine. We are proud to have a board-certified avian specialist on our team, providing a unique and collaborative environment for veterinarians interested in expanding or utilizing their exotics skillset.
About Our Practice

Our caseload is approximately:
- 50% canine/feline
- 50% avian/exotic

About the Role
We are seeking an Associate DVM who is confident, collaborative, and eager to provide high-quality care across a wide range of species. Experience with exotics/avian medicine is preferred, but we are open to candidates with a strong interest in learning and growing in this area.
What You’ll Do:
- Provide comprehensive medical, surgical, and preventive care
- Perform routine exams, diagnostics, and treatments
- Collaborate with a skilled team on complex and critical cases
- Maintain accurate medical records and communicate clearly with clients
- Contribute to a positive, team-oriented culture
- Schedule & Work-Life Balance
- Full-time (approx. 40 hours/week)
- Shared rotating Saturdays
- Closed Sundays
- No after-hours emergencies

Requirements:
- DVM or equivalent degree
- Eligible for (or currently holding) licensure in Utah
- Strong communication skills and team-oriented mindset
Compensation & Benefits:
- Salary: $110,000 – $140,000 (commensurate with experience)
- Signing bonus + relocation assistance: $15,000 – $30,000
