What You’ll Do

• Perform exams, diagnostics, and treatments for a range of species
• Conduct surgeries and dental procedures based on interest and skill
• Communicate with clients in a warm, educational, relationshipbuilding style

Requirements

Education & Licensing

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited program
• Licensed or eligible for licensure in Michigan
• DEA license or willingness to obtain (clinic-supported)
   

Clinical Skills

• Competency in general small animal medicine, diagnostics, and treatment planning
• Surgery and dentistry not required; experience or interest is a plus
• Comfort with dogs and cats is required
• Willingness to see small mammals and exotics is a plus, but not required
• Interest in practicing progressive, evidencebased medicine
• Comfort with digital radiography, ultrasound, and inhouse lab equipment (training available)
