Court Street Veterinary Hospital is a private practice in the beautiful Monadnock region of NH, close to the mountains for skiing & hiking, the seacoast, and Boston for quick travel adventures. Keene is a vibrant college town that has maintained a classic New England feel; our practice is located just off Main Street with excellent shops and restaurants, near the local human hospital.
Our hospital is a modern facility that was recently renovated feet to include a large treatment area, 4 exam rooms, purpose-built dog kennels/wards, an ultrasound suite, 3 surgical suites (2 soft tissue, and 1 dedicated dental suite), an isolation room, and more. We are thrilled to be adding to this team as we continue to grow! This hospital is a positive and dynamic environment run by incredible women. Our certified nurses have decades of experience and readily pursue continuing education, many of our assistants are enrolled in technician programs pursuing their degrees. Our receptionists are your gatekeepers and schedule management heroes. Our doctors are supportive of each other's cases and careers & offer a wide breadth of experiences: from practicing medicine in far-flung corners of the world, to emergency & critical care training, to advanced training in soft tissue surgery, orthopedics, and imaging/ultrasound.
Court Street Vet seeks to 'bridge the gap' between standard GP wellness care & speciality level care, serving a semi-rural community that are sometimes unable to pursue board-certified specialists. We offer advanced surgical services, advanced ultrasound (with future training opportunities to pursue abdominal and cardiac imaging interests), Digital Xray, full in-house IDEXX Lab, Electronic Medical Records (Avimark), company-provided laptop & remote access, if desired. Telemedicine services for: radiographs and ultrasound.

Your choice of PT (3 days per week) or FT (4 days per week) position available.
Base salary dependent upon experience, and selection of PT or FT schedule, with production bonuses (22%).

Responsibilities will include 2+ days of consulting (30 minute appointments, 90 minute lunch breaks, several same-day reserved spots held), and 1 surgical/procedures day (proficiency in OVH/Castration, lumpectomy, dental OHATs desired, though not required & we will support and train new graduates in development of these skills). Compassionate communication and empathy are a must.
