Mountain Point Equine Hospital is looking to welcome an Associate Veterinarian to our growing team. This is a unique opportunity to practice high-quality equine medicine in a supportive, collaborative environment where mentorship, schedule flexibility, and teamwork are at the heart of what we do.
About Us
Established in 2007, Mountain Point Equine is a progressive, full-service equine hospital caring for horses of every discipline—from elite performance athletes to cherished backyard companions. Our modern facility, built in 2020, was designed with both patients and staff in mind, ensuring we can deliver exceptional care with the latest diagnostics and treatments.
Our caseload is approximately 40% ambulatory and 60% in-hospital, supported by an exceptionally skilled technical team that allows our veterinarians to focus on practicing medicine. We pride ourselves on our positive, collaborative culture where mentorship and continued learning are priorities.

Facility Highlights
- Advanced diagnostics and treatments: digital radiography, digital ultrasound, gastroscopy, upper airway endoscopy, shockwave, underwater treadmill and spa, digital semen analyzers, artificial insemination and embryo transfer equipment, and a full in-house laboratory
- Surgical suite, two exam/treatment rooms
- 8 hospital stalls under 24-hour surveillance, isolation area
- 36-stall mare motel barn with capacity to board up to 50 horses
- Lameness evaluation area with outdoor arena
Mentorship & Flexibility
We offer an intensive mentorship program during your first 90 days to set you up for success, followed by the freedom to design your own schedule—choosing the days you want to work and the time you prefer off. With our collaborative team approach and highly trained staff, you’ll always feel supported as you grow as a clinician while providing excellent patient care.
