About Us:
Since 2007, East Metro Animal Emergency Clinic has proudly cared for pets in Covington and surrounding communities. As a walk-in, after-hours hospital, we’re here nights (6pm-7am), weekends (24 hours), and holidays to provide trusted, compassionate care when pets need it most. Our hospital is equipped with modern, state-of-the-art tools, including ultrasound, digital radiography, an in-house lab, and advanced diagnostics, allowing you to provide the highest level of care in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.

Responsibilities:
As a veterinarian on our team, you will:

• Provide emergency and critical care to patients in need
• Perform exams, diagnostics, surgeries, and treatments
• Collaborate with technicians and support staff to ensure the well-being of animals  
• Communicate clearly and compassionately with clients
• Maintain a safe, organized, and compliant work environment
• Maintain accurate medical records for all patients

Qualifications & Skills:

• DVM/VMD degree from an accredited veterinary program 
• Licensed or eligible for licensure in Georgia

• Willing to work overnight, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed

Requirements
