Emergency Veterinarian
Position Overview
Do you thrive in a fast-paced environment where no two days are exactly the same? Are you motivated to determine the root of a problem and solve complex cases? Are you looking to expand and strengthen your surgical skills? Are you looking to be part of a team that is focused on patient care and not meeting corporate goals and expectations? If so, then we might be a perfect opportunity for you!
Locations
Animal Emergency Hospital has three locations in the beautiful state of Florida. We have two 24/7 emergency and critical care hospitals and one hospital open overnights 7 days a week and 24 hours on the weekends. We started our Ormond Beach location in 2006 and have been growing ever since! We opened our DeLand hospital in 2021 and will open our third hospital in Palm Coast in Spring of 2026. Our hospitals provide the pets of Volusia and Flagler counties with the best in emergency and critical care medicine.
Our Ormond Beach hospital opened in 2006 and the area is known for being home to 23 miles of white sandy beaches, but the area’s natural beauty extends beyond the beach. From parks to lakes, rivers to scenic trails, there are multiple popular spots for every outdoor enthusiast to enjoy. Looking for an adrenaline rush? Take a short drive to Daytona Beach and experience both bike week and race week at Daytona International Speedway!
Our Deland hospital opened in 2021 and puts you right in the center of the action. Located between the exciting city of Orlando, and the laid-back seaside town of Ormond Beach, Deland is a vibrant, growing community of people and pets. Deland is home to Stetson University, the Saint John’s River, several natural springs, and an award-winning historic downtown.
Our brand new Palm Coast hospital opened in Spring of 2026 and is located in one of the fastest growing communities in Florida. With a growing population of almost 95,000 residents, the secret is out about the beauty of Palm Coast. A boater’s paradise, Palm Coast gives you access the beautiful intracoastal waterway, making a trip to St. Augustine or Daytona Beach a perfect boat day. Residents enjoy the abundant hiking and biking trails, dozens of parks and some of the best golf courses on the east coast of Florida.
