Mandak Veterinary Services is looking for a friendly, hard-working Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) to join our team!

Requirements

What You’ll Be Doing

As an LVT here, you’ll get to use your skills and stay hands-on. Your day-to-day will include things like:

• Helping doctors with exams, treatments, and procedures
• Drawing blood, placing catheters, and collecting samples
• Running in-house lab work
• Monitoring anesthesia and helping with surgery
• Assisting with sedated procedures and taking dental X-rays
• Giving medications and vaccines
• Taking patient histories and keeping medical records up to date
• Caring for hospitalized patients
• Talking with clients and helping them understand their pet’s care
• Keeping things clean, organized, and running smoothly

What We’re Looking For

• Licensed Veterinary Technician (or eligible in NY)
• Someone who works well with others and has a good attitude
• Willingness to learn and jump in where needed
• A genuine love for patient care and client interaction

Experience:

• 1 year in the veterinary field preferred, but not required
• New grads are welcome, we’re happy to mentor!

• Associate’s degree in Veterinary Technology preferred
