Located in the scenic heart of Berkshire County, Massachusetts, Bilmar Veterinary has been a trusted part of our community for over 50 years. We are a small animal practice serving cats and dogs, with a focus on compassionate, high-quality care, and supportive relationships—both with our clients and within our team.

Expanded, Integrative Services
In addition to outstanding conventional care, we’ve recently expanded our practice with a beautiful two-story addition housing two new integrative medicine rooms, allowing us to offer:

Traditional Chinese herbal medicine

Reiki
Nutritional consultations
Geriatric support services
This integrative approach allows our team to offer whole-pet wellness and gives our doctors the opportunity to explore or specialize in alternative modalities.
Surgical Excellence
Three of our veterinarians perform routine and emergency surgeries.
All team members benefit from hands-on training, case sharing, and support, whether you’re a new graduate or a seasoned practitioner.

Requirements
Professional Skills and Requirements
- Clinical Proficiency- Ability to perform surgery, diagnose illnesses, prescribe medication, and vaccinate animals.
- Strong interpersonal skills to build client rapport and communicate with staff.
- Our DVM's choose their schedule. We are open M-F 8-5 and Sat 8-12noon. No on-call hours.
- Use of medical technology and surgical equipment.
- Strong diagnostic and critical thinking abilities.
- Ability to handle high-pressure situations and communicate with empathy
