About You

As a key leader in our hospital, you'll drive positive changes and growth. Your influence will shape our vision, foster an exceptional culture, and maintain high standards of care. Partnering closely with our Hospital Administrator and leadership team, you'll develop strategies, implement improvements, and guide our hospital toward excellence in patient and client care, while supporting staff development.

We have built a strong, team-oriented culture rooted in urgent care medicine, and we are growing. As we expand from urgent care into a combined UC/GP model, we are seeking a Medical Director who can provide clinical leadership, mentorship, and medical oversight to help us elevate our foundation and successfully navigate this exciting transition.

Experience & Skills Requirements

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM / VMD) or equivalent degree required.
• State Veterinary Board License and must be in good standing for the state in which they intend to be hired, prior to their start date.
• Active DEA license or DEA licensure eligible.
• Demonstrated leadership, mentorship, and decision-making skills.
• Experience in urgent care medicine strongly preferred; comfort working across a broad range of presenting conditions in a fast-paced, walk-in environment.

Thrive Pet Healthcare Urgent Care - Turnersville is located in Turnersville, New Jersey, in the heart of South Jersey. Serving Turnersville, Williamstown, and Pennsville Township

Our hospital is a state-of-the-art urgent care facility caring for dogs and cats across Turnersville, Williamstown, and the Pennsville Township area. We are open seven days a week, 10:00 am - 10:00 pm, providing extended-hour, walk-in, outpatient care for pets with non-life-threatening conditions that require prompt attention.

We are actively expanding our model to incorporate general practice services, creating a unique and exciting opportunity for a Medical Director to help shape what this hospital becomes.

The success of your patients' care matters to you, and your success matters to us. Our progressive compensation model includes a competitive base salary of $165,000-$185,000 with quarterly production compensation, and an Medical Director stipend. Plus, no negative accrual!
