We are currently looking to hire a full-time Veterinary Assistant to join our team at Bowdon Animal Hospital in Bowdon, GA.

Bowdon Animal Hospital is a full-service veterinary hospital located in the heart of Bowdon, Georgia, known for providing compassionate, high-quality care to pets in a welcoming, small-town environment. The hospital offers a wide range of services including preventative care, diagnostics, surgery, urgent care, and boarding, all supported by an experienced and dedicated veterinary team. With a strong focus on personalized treatment and client relationships, Bowdon Animal Hospital strives to ensure every pet receives attentive, individualized care while supporting the overall well-being of animals in the community.

Who You Are:

• 1+ years of veterinary clinical experience as an assistant
• Ability to work rotating Saturdays in the near future
• Knowledge of industry tools and equipment
• Experience with proper animal handling and restraint
• Ability to be adaptable and work well with existing doctors and team members
• Ability to perform nursing care in a hospital setting
• Solid understanding of animal behavior and healthcare
• Understands the importance of excellent communication and organizational skills
