The Endocrinology Section, world-renowned for gold standard tests for endocrine disorders in animals, receives the most submissions and offers assays to assess thyroid, adrenal, parathyroid, reproductive, pancreatic, pituitary, and gastric function in multiple species. The VDL, CVM, and MSU offer an excellent environment for professional growth in endocrinology as well as leadership training and opportunities for advancement.
A dedication to providing outstanding diagnostic service for colleagues within the VMC, as well as for private veterinary practitioners and clients who submit diagnostic material through the VDL is required. Excellent written and interpersonal skills are necessary. Strong leadership qualities and skills, and knowledge of assay methodologies and assay development are desired.
