We are currently looking to hire a Veterinary Technician to join our team at Animal Medical Care

• Compensation: $18-25/hour, depending on experience, education, certifications, licensure, and location
• Schedule: Full-time, 36 hours per week, 9-10 hour shifts, including rotating weekends and holidays, with 1-2 weekends per month
• Location: 984 Thompson Bridge Rd, Gainesville, GA 30501

Who You Are:

If you are a veterinary technician who is looking for an exciting, no day ever the same! We are a fun and energetic veterinary hospital, and we look forward to hearing from you!

• 2 + years of veterinary clinical experience as a veterinary assistant or technician required
• Understands the importance of excellent communication, organizational, and teamwork skills
• Passion for working with animals and their owners
• Provet or ezyVet experience a plus
• Knowledge of industry tools and equipment
• Experience with proper animal handling and restraint of a variety of species
• Ability to perform nursing care in a veterinary hospital setting
• Solid understanding of animal behavior and healthcare
• Basic understanding of common medications, vaccinations, and preventatives
• Administer medications, vaccines, and treatments per the doctor's orders
• Assist veterinarians and technicians with exams, treatments, and surgical procedures
• Ensure a clean, safe, and organized work environment
