Description
Common Companion Vet Co is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Veterinary Assistant to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will support veterinarians in providing high-quality care to our animal patients. Your responsibilities will include assisting with examinations, administering medications, maintaining medical records, and ensuring a clean and safe environment for both pets and staff. The ideal candidate is a team player with a love for animals, excellent communication skills, and a strong attention to detail.Key Responsibilities:
- Assist veterinarians during examinations and procedures.
- Provide compassionate care to animals and their owners.
- Maintain and organize medical records and inventory.
- Administer medications and treatments as directed.
- Ensure cleanliness and safety in the clinic.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent..
- Previous experience in a veterinary industry.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
